Annual Art Festival in San Jose del Cabo
The Baja California town of San Jose del Cabo, quieter than its raucous neighbor Cabo San Lucas, is home to an emerging artist’s colony. On Saturday the town--10 miles from Cabo San Lucas, will stage its third annual art festival.
The San Jose del Cabo Art Festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. outdoors, on the grounds of a beachside resort called La Jolla de Los Cabos. It will feature the work of more than 60 artists, about half of whom come from Baja. The show will focus on fine art, although a limited craft section will highlight indigenous Mexican items.
