Woodland Hills : Kiwanis Seeks Books, Tapes to Help Library

The Warner Center Kiwanis is collecting books and videotapes to be sold to raise money for the Platt Branch Library in Woodland Hills.
The items will be sold at the library’s first-anniversary celebration, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 20 at the library, 23600 Victory Blvd.
Kiwanis officials hope to raise $5,000, which will be used to purchase books for the library.
The anniversary celebration will include clowns, magicians, face painting and free food. The event is co-sponsored by the Warner Center Kiwanis and Friends of the Platt Library.
