Colleges : Campus scene : Soroptimists Honor Patricia Stanley

Cypress College’s executive vice president, Patricia Stanley, has been named a Woman of Distinction for her 30 years of volunteer service to human rights groups and women’s organizations.
The award was given to Stanley by the Irvine chapter of Soroptimist International, an international service organization made up of executive business and professional women.
Soroptimist officials praised Stanley for donating her time to numerous nonprofit organizations, as well as Scout troops and schools, over the past three decades.
