Lake View Terrace : Park Panel Expected to OK Equestrian Center
- Share via
Los Angeles parks officials are expected to approve final plans for a $350,000 equestrian center behind the Lake View Terrace Recreation Center Wednesday.
If approved by the Recreation and Parks Commission, the 5.2-acre project will include three exercise arenas for horses, a parking lot for equestrian trailers, a bridle trail system and a small park with trees and native vegetation where horses can graze.
The bridle trails would connect all three arenas and the park and link up with existing trails at the nearby Hansen Dam Recreation Area.
Construction is slated to begin in the next six months, with construction lasting about four months.
