United International Pictures Chief Williams-Jones Retiring

Michael Williams-Jones will retire as president and chief operating officer of United International Pictures. Williams-Jones will continue to serve as president of UIP until a successor is found. UIP is the joint venture that handles international distribution for Paramount, MCA and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Williams-Jones has been president of UIP since 1984.
