Data Processing Resources Has Record Results

NEWPORT BEACH — Data Processing Resources Corp., which provides information technology staffing services, reported record earnings and revenue for the third fiscal quarter, which ended April 30.

Net income rose 63%, to $909,000, or 14 cents a share, from $557,000, or 11 cents a share, for the same quarter last year. Revenue was up 16%, to $14.8 million from $12.8 million. Net income for the nine-month period rose 47%, to $2.2 million, or 40 cents a share, from $1.5 million, or 30 cents a share, for the comparable three quarters a year ago. Revenue gained 19%, to $42 million from $35.3 million.
