A Dream Vacation
In January my husband and I fulfilled a long held dream and visited Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
We had found an Australian travel agency that arranges tours to Indochina, including the necessary visas.
We traveled “standard” class and had comfortable accommodations throughout. Breakfast was always included.
We were met by English speaking guides, who cared for our schedule till we were back at the airport again. All the flights were smooth and in modern planes.
We were especially fond of a guest house we stayed at in Vientiane, the Lani One. The charm reached back several decades but the comfort was now. In walking distance we found the Banhaysok, a super clean restaurant that served excellently prepared Chinese food, even though the ambience was not Chinese.
