OCC Establishes Scholarship Fund

Orange Coast College has established a scholarship fund in memory of longtime business professor William R. Parks, who died April 29.
Parks, a member of OCC’s faculty for 29 years, apparently died of a heart attack. He was 54.
In addition to teaching business courses, Parks served as an advisor to several campus clubs, including the sailing and karate clubs.
He was also a member of the school’s Academic Senate.
Donations to the scholarship fund, established by OCC’s Foundation, may be sent to the college at 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
