Flag Retirement Ceremony Planned

U.S. flags that are old and tattered will be collected at the fifth annual Flag Retirement Ceremony at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Newland House Museum.
Flags may be delivered before the ceremony during museum hours: 2 to 4:30 p.m. today and Thursday, and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The event is sponsored by the Huntington Beach Historical Society.
The Newland House is at 19820 Beach Blvd. at Adams Avenue.
