New Immigrants Keep U.S. Vital
I was touched by the profile of Michael Ma (“The Shape of Things to Come,” July 7).
Over and over as I read about his life, drive and accomplishments as well as his family values, I thought that new immigrants are vital to the renewal of America. They revitalize our purpose, restore our primary values and expand our horizons. They bring into focus the energy, creativity and passion that has made America.
So perhaps those of us who have been here for a while should think again before we blame our problems on immigrants and think for a minute about people like Michael Ma who have developed our strengths.
