Wings of Desire (Showtime Friday at 12:15 p.m.) In Wim Wenders’ 1987 film, two guardian angels in trench coats--who speak dialogues written by novelist-playwright Peter Handke--solemnly witness a bleak, black-and-white contemporary Berlin, until one of them falls in love with a trapeze artist (Solvieg Dommartin) and becomes, in a blaze of color, human.
