Bullfrogs Acquire Former King Whyte

The Bullfrogs acquired forward Sean Whyte from Denver Thursday, the team announced. In exchange for Whyte, Denver will get the Bullfrogs’ first- and second-round picks in the 1997 draft.
Whyte didn’t play for Denver this season but played last ice hockey season for Fort Worth of the Central Hockey League. He played the 1995 RHI season for the Phoenix Cobras, accumulating 45 points in 23 games.
Whyte also played in 18 games for the Kings during the 1992-93 season.
Whyte, 26, is expected to be in uniform when the Bullfrogs play the L.A. Blades Tuesday at the Forum.
