Group Names Chapter Head

The Professional Assn. of Health Care Office Managers appointed Ann Maran of Thousand Oaks to head its new Ventura County chapter.
The nationwide PAHCOM, founded in 1988, provides medical office managers a networking support system where members share problems and solutions for such things as billing and insurance procedures.
Maran--office manager of Block, Baker & Gonzalez, M.D.’s in Thousand Oaks--will coordinate recruitment efforts and represent the association at meetings with local health care officials.
