Man Killed After Crashing Into Pole

SUN VALLEY — A motorist was killed Saturday when he lost control of his car while changing lanes and struck a power pole, police said.
It took firefighters 15 minutes to pry apart the wreckage to reach the body of the driver, identified only as a Latino male, said Brian Humphrey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The 1 p.m. crash took place on Tujunga Avenue near Goss Street.
