TV Retailer to Donate 10% of Sales to Charity

Wilshire TV & Stereo in Thousand Oaks said it will donate to a recognized service club or organization 10% of the purchase price of every item it sells this month.
Lyn Perry, president of the home entertainment retailer, said each buyer will be able to designate which charity will receive a donation derived from his or her purchase.
“Almost four years ago, we moved to the Conejo Valley after our store was burned to the ground in the 1992 Los Angeles riots,” Perry said. “I know I have been blessed and want to return something to my community.”
Wilshire TV & Stereo is at 1518 N. Moorpark Road, in the Ralphs/Sav-on shopping center.
