OUTLOOK
As usual, Rancho Alamitos will be in the hunt for the league title. Whether the Vaqueros get there could depend on Yandell, a former receiver who has never played quarterback. Yandell will have plenty of help in the backfield with Kosi, Vickers and Blanco--maybe the best group of backs in the county. But he will need protection if the Vaqueros are going to have a balanced attack. The offensive line is big but unproven. The defense will be led by Vickers, who led the team in tackles last year, and Camarillo, a transfer from Garden Grove.
