Food Stamps

* I note that the projected reduction in food stamp allotments will represent more than $2.25 million per month in lost sales for food retailers in Los Angeles County alone (Aug. 30). Those of us who worry about matters like hungry children perhaps may find allies in the business community, where issues like cash flow in our giant consumer economy are considered important.
