Simi Valley Man Held in Molestation Case

SIMI VALLEY — Police arrested a 26-year-old Simi Valley man Wednesday in connection with the molestation of a 12-year-old girl in August.
Fernando R. Espinoza, who was arrested without incident, was booked into Ventura County Jail on suspicion of lewd and lascivious conduct with a minor under the age of 14. He is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
Simi Valley police said the girl filed a report Aug. 30 saying she had been molested about 12:30 a.m. Aug. 1.
