Free Train Rides Offered

Revelers traveling to the California Beach Party in Ventura on Sunday are being offered free train rides to the event.
Metrolink and the Ventura County Transportation Commission are providing the trips to and from the event at the Ventura Promenade.
The train will stop in Simi Valley, Moorpark, Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura. Free parking is available at all stations except Ventura.
The beach party begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the promenade next to the Ventura Pier. Cost is $5.50 for adults and $3.50 for seniors. Children 12 and younger are admitted free.
The train will leave Simi Valley at 9:25 a.m., Moorpark at 9:42, Camarillo at 9:56 and Oxnard at 10:10. It will arrive in Ventura at 10:30 a.m.
The train will leave Ventura at 4:10 p.m., arriving in Oxnard at 4:24, Camarillo at 4:55, Moorpark at 5:06 and Simi Valley at 5:24.
Travelers are advised to reach the station 15 minutes in advance.
