La Canada 42, Keppel 0--The Spartans (2-0) used a strong running attack while holding the Aztecs (0-2) to four yards passing and 59 yards rushing in the nonleague victory at La Canada.
Eric Leverton carried 10 times for 117 yards and touchdown runs of 51 and seven yards. Erik Ovanestour had 17 carries for 115 yards and two three-yard touchdown plunges.
