BioSource’s Revenues, Products, Facilities Grow

BioSource International of Camarillo reported record results for the quarter that ended Sept. 30.
The company posted revenue of $5.04 million and net income of $806,380, or 10 cents per share. For the first nine months of 1996, BioSource reported revenue of $10.8 million and net income of $1.9 million, or 27 cents per share.
BioSource’s cumulative earnings came despite an increase of 1.3 million shares of BioSource common stock.
James H. Chamberlain, chairman, president and CEO, said BioSource expanded its production facilities and research and development space during the quarter. This expansion, and the addition of scientific staff, was planned to support continued growth of the company’s product portfolio.
BioSource supplies immunological reagents and test kits used in biomedical research.
