Harris Unit Acquires Irvine’s Copyprint

IRVINE — Copyprint of California has been acquired by Harris Corp.’s Lanier Worldwide Inc. unit, the companies announced Monday. Terms were not disclosed.

Atlanta-based Harris Corp. said Copyprint will operate as Lanier/Copyprint and become the Southern California hub for Lanier Professional Services Inc. Copyprint’s president and owner, George Kemptner, will become vice president of sales and marketing for Lanier/Copyprint. All of Copyprint’s employees will be offered positions within Lanier/Copyprint.

The Irvine-based commercial print shop was established in 1973.
