Milk Prices Vary Despite ‘Low Prices’ Campaign

Your article on the cost of milk (“Fluid Pricing,” Oct. 16) is exactly correct. I was at Kramer Junction outside of Boron in the Mojave Desert and purchased half a gallon of milk for $1.65 at a convenience store while Ralph’s “lower prices” campaign in Mission Viejo was selling the same milk for $2.19. If this is what “lower” means, I am going back to school.
