Records: La Puente Bishop Amat 7-3, Fountain Valley 7-3.

Rankings: Neither team was ranked in the final Division I section rankings.

Noteworthy: Bishop Amat is the division’s defending champion and is trying to reach its third consecutive title game. Fountain Valley must run the ball as successfully as it did in beating Esperanza last Friday, as the Lancers’ offense can score from anywhere at any time. The Barons have won the two previous meetings between the teams, including a 31-24 victory in the 1988 Division I title game.
