Team Says Sealy Is Not on Block

The Clippers denied a published report that they are trying to trade guard Malik Sealy to the Detroit Pistons for Stacey Augmon.
New York Post columnist Peter Vecsey reported the Pistons are trying to deal Augmon for Sealy or Terry Dehere or center Dwayne Schintzius.

Guard Brent Barry, who has shot 34.7% in his first eight games, said he is hurting the team.
“I’ve been very frustrated with my play, especially on Thursday night,” Barry said. “I was glad we won the game because I put my team in jeopardy of losing the game.”
Barry sat out the first 14 games due to a thumb injury.

Guard Pooh Richardson sat out his second consecutive game because of a sprained right ankle. . . . Clipper center Stanley Roberts, who has missed five games because of a ruptured disk, said he has begun walking on a treadmill.
