St. Bonaventure 18, Nordhoff 14--Quarterback Teohua Sanchez and receiver Pepe Villasenor connected on two touchdown passes to lead the Seraphs to a comeback victory over Nordhoff in the Division X final at Nordhoff High.

St. Bonaventure rallied after trailing, 14-0, little more than seven minutes into the game.

The Seraphs (12-1-1) got a touchdown pass from Sanchez to Bryce Johnson to cut the lead to 14-6 at the start of the second quarter.

Then Villasenor caught eight of his nine passes and the two scores in the remaining three quarters.

St. Bonaventure won its sixth consecutive game and its second Southern Section title--but its first since 1968.

Nordhoff (12-1-1) suffered its second section title loss in three years. The Rangers were routed by Atascadero in 1994.
