In other South Coast League games:
Dana Hills 4, Trabuco Hills 1--Elicia Petrie and Andrea Warner each had a goal and an assist for visiting Dana Hills (11-7-2, 3-4-2).
Mater Dei 3, San Clemente 0--Kim Buccola, Paige Pancoast and Katie Ticehurst scored for fifth-ranked Mater Dei (15-5, 6-3).
In the Empire League:
Cypress 2, Loara 0--Jodie Specht and Lisa McCrery each scored for host Cypress (16-3-3, 8-0-1), which clinched the league title.
In the Freeway League:
La Habra 1, Troy 1 (OT)--Shelley Salas scored early in the second half to tie the score for La Habra (8-7-5, 5-1-3).
In the Sunset League:
Los Alamitos 2, Edison 1--Los Alamitos scored two second-half goals to defeat ninth-ranked Edison (11-9-2, 5-3-1) and clinch the league title. Susan Palmer scored with 15 minutes left to tie the score for the fourth-ranked Griffins (18-4-2, 8-1). Sommer Hammoud scored seven minutes later.
Esperanza 3, Marina 1--Stacy Jarne scored her 13th and 14th goals of the season to lead Esperanza (17-4-3, 6-1-2). Esperanza, ranked sixth in the county, clinched second place in league.
In Garden Grove League boys’ soccer:
Garden Grove 2, Los Amigos 1--Steve Troncoso scored the winning goal with five minutes left off an assist from Chris Hospedales for Garden Grove (9-9-2, 5-5-1). Hospedales scored his ninth goal in league unassisted midway through the first half to tie the score, 1-1.
In the Olympic League:
Orange Lutheran 3, Brethren Christian 0--Freshman Sean Silva scored twice and Shawn Vance posted his 13th shutout, a school record, for host Orange Lutheran (18-2-2, 11-0-1), which clinched the league title.
In nonleague girls’ water polo:
Villa Park 10, University 9--Morgan Meyer scored five goals and Kristyn Pulver four to lead Villa Park (17-2). Villa Park led at halftime, 7-1, but University (9-3) rallied in the second half.
In the Pacific Coast League wrestling finals:
Laguna Hills wins--The Hawks posted a score of 210.5 to win its 10th consecutive league title. Aliso Niguel was second (158.5), followed by University (109.5); Costa Mesa (87) and Estancia (65.5.
