In the Golden State Athletic Conference:
Concordia 66, Southern California College 54--Angela Sather scored a game-high 19 points and Heather Carll added 17 points and 12 rebounds for Concordia (24-5, 9-1), which led, 42-23, at halftime. Elaine Whittemore had 17 points and 10 rebounds for SCC (17-9, 5-6).
In Golden State Athletic Conference baseball:
Southern California College 1-0, Biola 0-3--In the first game of a doubleheader, Bryan Primm pitched a four-hitter for SCC (9-5, 3-1). Biola (8-3, 1-2). Biola scored three runs in the seventh inning of the second game as Steve Rogers pitched a six-hitter.
In nonconference baseball:
Chapman 9, UC San Diego 2--Michael Konkol had three hits and three RBIs for Chapman (4-2). Teammates Cale Shepherd and Josh Fallon each had three hits for the Panthers.
In Golden State Athletic Conference men’s basketball:
Concordia 74, Southern California College 72--Kalim Scott scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Concordia (12-15, 5-7) in the upset over SCC (21-8, 8-4). Justin McIntee, who missed a three-point shot at the the buzzer, led SCC with 18 points.
At the Florida softball tournament:
Titans win three--Bevan Trueblood went two for three with two RBIs and Nikki Hart had two hits and two runs scored for Fullerton (5-5), which defeated Florida, 4-3, in the final game of the day. Jana Oetgen pitched a seven-hitter and struck out five for the Titans.
Julie Williams hit her second home run and had four RBIs to lead Fullerton to a 9-3 victory over Tennessee Chattanooga in the second game of a doubleheader. Hart had four hits to help the Titans win the opener, 6-1.
