Saturn is slipping behind the sun, and this week and next is our last chance to see it in the evening sky untl late summer. Look for it about 10 degrees below the thin crescent moon and 10 degrees above the horizon and due west during twilight at 6:30 p.m. The view from a telescope (inset drawing) will show Saturn’s rings tilted so as to appear nearly edge-on.
