Panthers Put End to Devils’ Streak, 4-1

New Jersey’s Bobby Holik put a puck into his own net to ignite a three-goal, third-period outburst that led the Florida Panthers past the streaking New Jersey Devils, 4-1, Monday night at East Rutherford, N.J.
Florida broke the Devils’ NHL-high 15-game home unbeaten streak (9-0-6).
Ottawa 4, N.Y. Rangers 3--Bruce Gardiner scored with 2:13 to play as the Senators won at New York to move within four points of the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
Buffalo 5, Boston 1--Dominik Hasek made 27 saves and Donald Audette scored his 26th and 27th goals as the Sabres won at Buffalo.
Phoenix 3, St. Louis 2--Jeff Finley scored with 13:29 left and Nikolai Khabibulin made 35 saves as the Coyotes won at Phoenix to reach the .500 mark for the first time since Jan. 3.
