ORANGE — Bergen Brunswig Corp. said it received a five-year, $200-million contract from Northwestern Medical Corp. for distribution of both drugs and medical supplies.
Bergen and Northwestern said they agreed to specific cost-savings targets and a combination of guarantees and shared savings. Bergen also will place two people at Northwestern’s Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago to direct materials management programs and help achieve cost reductions.
