The Orange County High School of the Arts production of the musical “Runaways,” by Elizabeth Swados, has been extended through Saturday. Added performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at the Oak Middle School Black Box Theatre, 10821 Oak Ave., Los Alamitos. For tickets, call (562) 596-4304, Ext. 4.
Eight Orange County rock, blues and jazz acts will be featured in an HBTV-3 special scheduled for May 31 as part of a telethon to raise money for the annual Fourth of July parade in Huntington Beach. The program, which includes performances by Urban Sprawl, Home Cookin’, Joe Nappa, Sons of the South, Psychic Rain, One Row Below and the American Wake, was taped Sunday at Music City in Fountain Valley.
