These Dodgers Haven’t Exactly Been a Hit With Readers, Either

What’s all the excitement about the Dodgers failing to have a first-base coach at the start of a game? They never get there anyway.

There is only one possible reason Todd Zeile and Eric Karros are still in the lineup every day. Tommy LaRussell must be a Bruin fan.

With perhaps the most talented roster in Dodger history, this team may go down as the most infamous. On the field, the team lacks intelligence, emotion and heart. In the dugout, this team lacks communication, leadership and direction.
If team chemistry is needed and cannot be obtained by the current roster, then make some changes. This includes the coaching staff. How can we as fans follow a team whose players don’t care about each other and a manager who doesn’t argue an obvious blown call and one who refuses to bench a .145 hitter?

So the Dodgers are frustrated because they’re four games out after four weeks and afraid they may get buried in the standings. As much as I would enjoy that, given their talent, particularly their superior pitching, the Dodgers are a virtual shoo-in for the postseason. So, please guys, save your bickering for when you get swept out of the playoffs.

Instead of selling the Dodgers, why doesn’t Peter O’Malley trade them even up for the Cubs? We Dodger fans will never notice the difference.

I’m just correcting a typographical error from this morning’s paper. It should read, “Dodgers Stink to New Low.”
