Forum to Explore Central Ave. History

Jazz musicians, historians, writers and past and present residents of the Vernon-Central neighborhood will be featured during “Central Avenue History Forum,” Saturday at the Dunbar Hotel, 4225 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles.
The forum, which explores the neighborhood’s cultural and musical legacy, starts at 1 p.m. with panel discussions. Live performances are scheduled from 4 to 6 p.m.
