Concert Today to Feature Mariachis

The Oxnard Performing Arts Center will feature a cultural Mother’s Day celebration today with a four-hour mariachi concert featuring half a dozen performances.

The event begins at noon with an outside concert by the local group Mariachi Juvenil Azteca de Camarillo.

At 2 p.m., the concert will move indoors for performances by the all-female mariachi group Las Adelitas and the Los Angeles-based Mariachi Camperos de Nati Cano. Alma de Mexico will close the show.
