Police Station Gets New Phone Numbers

Los Angeles police officials in the North Hollywood division issued a list of nonemergency public phone numbers for its new station. The numbers will go into effect Sunday.
The division is moving this week from Tiara Street to a new location at 11640 Burbank Blvd. People who attempt to dial the station’s old numbers in the next three months will get a message referring them to corresponding new numbers.
Emergency calls, which are handled through the department’s 911 system, will not be affected by the division’s move this weekend.
“We’re still transferring section personnel from the old building to the new, so there may be some delays with our nonemergency services, but we’ll continue to serve the public to the best of our ability,” Capt. Richard Wahler, North Hollywood commanding officer, said.
The new numbers include patrol offices, (818) 623-4006; front desk, (818) 623-4016; detectives, (818) 623-4045, and community relations, (818) 623-4001.
