Hawaii Pacific 12, Southern California College 1 (6 innings, mercy rule)--Star Perry had four RBIs for Hawaii Pacific (44-6), the nation’s No. 1-ranked team, which also defeated Azusa Pacific, 9-2, to advance to the regional championship game at 11 a.m. today.
In the NCAA Region VIII Championships men’s tennis:
Washington 4, UC Irvine 0--Third-seeded Washington defeated sixth-seeded UC Irvine for the second time this season. Washington advances to the semifinals to play second-seeded UC Santa Barbara.
