F-16 Crashes; Pilot Unhurt

SANTA FE, N.M. — An Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed in an isolated area of New Mexico on Monday, but the pilot ejected safely and no one was injured, officials said.
The plane crashed about five miles north of Vaughn. It had been on a routine training flight with three other jets from Cannon Air Force Base 110 miles away.
