Home Builder Presley Cos. Posts $3.6-Million Loss in 1st Quarter

NEWPORT BEACH — Home builder The Presley Cos. reported a net loss for the first quarter of $3.6 million, or 7 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $2.3 million, or 4 cents a share, for the 1996 first quarter. Sales were up 11% to $67.8 million from $61.1 million.
