Police are looking for two men who robbed a South Coast Plaza jewelry store at gunpoint Wednesday, taking diamonds and Rolex watches worth $325,000, police said.

The men, one of them carrying a semi-automatic handgun, “politely” demanded loose diamonds and the designer watches during the 10:20 a.m. robbery of the Ben Bridge jewelry store, Police Sgt. Tom Boylan said.

The robbers handed employees bags for the gems and jewelry then ordered them to lie on the floor, Boylan said.
