Workshop Set for Community Groups

A one-day workshop for community association leaders and homeowners titled “ABCs--A Basic Course” will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 7 at the Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel, 1707 4th St., Santa Monica.
The workshop, sponsored by the Los Angeles chapter of Community Assns. Institute (CAI), will cover such topics as rule enforcement, effective board meetings, budget and financial planning, architectural control and problem solving.
The cost is $99 for CAI members, $120 for nonmembers, and covers registration, lunch, a comprehensive manual and a handbook and parking.
