Sonora Standout Lien Signs with Bryan College

Josh Lien, a 6-foot-6 swingman from Sonora High, has signed to play basketball at Bryan (Tenn.) College, Sonora Coach Mike Murphy said Friday.
Lien, whose brother and sister attend Bryan, originally had no intention to play college basketball, Murphy said. Lien changed his mind after visiting the school in the spring. Lien was a first-team All-Freeway League selection last season.

Dan Galvanoni, a 6-2 guard from Capistrano Valley High, said he has orally committed to play at Nevada.
Galvanoni averaged 17.4 points, 7.2 assists and made 38% of his three point shots last season. He was named second team All-Orange County.

Annie Benington, a midfielder from Edison High, has signed to play soccer at Westmont College, the school announced.
Bennington, a second-team All-Sunset League selection, also played for the North Huntington Beach club team.

Allen Fletcher, a point guard from Irvine Valley College, has signed to play basketball at UC Riverside, Irvine Valley Coach Jerry Hernandez announced.
Fletcher, team captain, led the Lasers to a 26-8 record and the Orange Empire League championship. He averaged 6.8 points and 3.6 assists and received conference honorable mention honors.
