Rush Named to Civil Service Appeals Panel

Ramaul Rush has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Ventura County Civil Service Commission’s Board of Review and Appeals.
Rush, a 16-year resident of Thousand Oaks, was appointed by Supervisor Kathy Long to serve on the five-member board, which oversees administration of the county’s civil service merit system and mediates civil service employee grievances.
Rush, a court investigator for the Los Angeles County Department of Children’s Services, has served on the building and safety appeals board in Thousand Oaks and serves with the California State Bar Office of Trials Probation Unit for Ventura County.
