Smokers Have Just Themselves to Blame

I applaud the court’s decision in not finding R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. liable in a smoker’s death (May 6).
I am continually amazed at people’s refusal to accept responsibility for their actions.
For these people (smokers that blame someone else for their disease), I have this simple exercise:
Place your hand approximately 6 inches from your head, palm facing you. Then swiftly move your hand until it makes contact with your forehead. To complete the exercise, loudly exclaim, “What was I thinking?”
The next time you reach your hand into a snake pit, maybe you’ll think twice before suing the snake.
