Jonathan Katz to Speak on Funding for Arts

Jonathan Katz, chief executive officer of the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies, will speak on “Trends and Countertrends in the Arts, Policy and Funding (And, What You Can Do About It!),” on June 26 at the Harry Chandler Auditorium of The Times Mirror building in downtown Los Angeles (220 W. 1st St.).
California Arts Council Director Barbara Pieper and Lisa Cleri Reale, director of community affairs for Times Mirror, will make opening remarks at the 9-11 a.m. event, which is organized by the nonprofit group Arts Inc.
The event is free, and complimentary parking will be provided at 213 S. Spring St.
