City Offers One-Day Waste Drop-Off

Residents can bring hazardous materials to the parking lot at 1701 Placentia Ave. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday to be collected.
Antifreeze, auto batteries, used oil, paint and related materials will be accepted. A maximum of 15 gallons of waste per vehicle is allowed.
Only Costa Mesa residents can participate. The program is sponsored by the city and the Costa Mesa Sanitary District. Information: (714) 754-5043.
