Update--Linda Sharp’s Sparks will try to reach .500 before embarking on their first long trip, to Houston, Cleveland and Charlotte. Entering play Thursday, Sacramento’s Ruthie Bolton-Holifield led the WNBA in scoring (22.5 points), rebounding (11.5), steals (5.0) and minutes played (36.5). Pam McGee had 23 points and Bolton-Holifield added 21 in Sacramento’s 78-70 victory at home against Charlotte on Thursday. The Sparks were firing on all cylinders Wednesday in a 74-54 victory over Charlotte, their first. L.A. guard Penny Toler suffered an injury to her forearm in the game, did not practice Thursday and is day to day, Sharp said.
