The body of a man who had been shot to death was found on the grounds of a retirement home for Catholic priests by a member of the order.
Members of the Dominguez Seminary in the 18100 block of South Alameda Street heard gunshots about 5 p.m. Thursday, said Sheriff’s Deputy Henry Garza.
A priest found the body about 6:40 p.m., Garza said. The victim was identified as Stanley E. Robinson, 36. He had been shot several times in the upper body, the deputy said.
Garza said homicide detectives were searching for a motive and a suspect.
