Sigg Leads Titan Women Past San Diego

Cal State Fullerton’s Kristen Sigg scored 23 points and had six rebounds in a 66-61 victory over San Diego Friday night in nonconference women’s basketball.

Andrea Thieme had 14 points and Nashira Shaw added 12 points for the Titans (2-6).

Jessica Gray scored 16 points and had 10 rebounds for San Diego (2-5). Freshman Jennifer Tuiolosega, a graduate of Ocean View, scored eight points for San Diego.

In nonconference women’s basketball:

Concordia 77, The Master’s 53--Heather Carll scored 25 points and had 13 rebounds to lead host Concordia. Angela Good added 16 points and four rebounds for Concordia (7-2). Elizabeth Hansell scored 17 points and had 19 rebounds for The Master’s (4-5).

In the Cal State Monterey Bay men’s basketball tournament:

Southern California College 83, San Jose Christian 71--Dennis Keane and Terence Wilborn scored 16 points each to lead Southern California College. Wilborn had a game-high 16 rebounds.
