Developing Flood Plains Bad Idea

* The area in Huntington Beach where the trailer park got flooded used to be a wetland and, whenever it rained, the area flooded (Dec. 7).
Floods there are to be expected. The area should never have been developed; putting seniors there was stupidity. It is also stupid to have senior trailer parks near the Santa Ana River, where a good-sized storm can flood them.
